EASYJET have introduced a new service for customers to check-in their luggage from home for just £30 so you can be suitcase-free.

The low-cost airline has teamed up with home bag drop service AirPortr, giving passengers travelling from London Gatwick the option to check their luggage in online. Their bags are then collected from their doorstep by drivers and taken directly to the airport, as long as the address is within a certain catchment area.

AirPortr will deliver the luggage to easyJet’s bag drop before it is flown to one of the airline’s 110 destinations from Gatwick.

Travellers will next see their luggage when they collect it at their destination airport.

The service is available for flights to any of easyJet’s destinations across Europe from London Gatwick, the airline’s biggest UK base.

According to easyJet’s research, over three-quarters of travellers would prefer to be luggage free for the day of their flight.
