Low-cost flights between Berlin and Singapore from 2018 by Scoot!

Scoot Airline announced it will launch a new route to Europe in 2018. The route will be between Berlin and Singapore, the second European destination of the airline after it launched its Singapore-Athens route in June this year.

Scoot, which is the low-cost arm of the Singapore Airlines Group, currently flies to 62 destinations across 16 countries. The new service to Berlin is now the third long-haul flight that the airline has added to its destinations.

The Singapore-Berlin flights will operate four times weekly and passengers will be flown on Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

Mr Lee Lik Hsin, Scoot’s Chief Executive Officer, said, “Scoot’s merger with Tigerair Singapore earlier this year has greatly strengthened our position, standing us in good stead to launch and sustain our long-haul operations. Athens has lived up to our expectations while bookings for Honolulu have been very promising. We are excited to bring our unique Scootitude to Berlin and can’t wait to launch those great value fares that Scoot is known for!” Scoot targets to launch ticket sales for Berlin in the first quarter of 2018.
