Ryanair to waive flight change fees on summer bookings
Ryanair has announced a change to its fees as it prepares to get planes on the go again from July 1, when will be operating over 1,000 daily flights across their entire network.
It announced today it was abolishing flight change fees for bookings in July and August, so travellers can book their summer holidays “with peace of mind if their travel plans change.’
It means that from June 10 onwards, travellers will be able to move their flights for free for travel until December 31, 2020.
In a tweet today it said: “We’re removing the flight change fee for all customers who book to travel in July and August – allowing you to book your summer holidays with peace of mind in case your travel plans change.”
The company said in a statement: “ Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, announced it will waive its flight change fee for all customers who book to travel in July and August, allowing them to book their summer holidays with peace of mind in case their travel plans change.
“In order to provide as much confidence and flexibility as possible, Ryanair is now offering customers the following option:
“From June 10, customers who book to travel in July and August will be able to move their flights with zero change fee to travel until December 31 2020.
This flight date change will only apply to the route customers have already booked and trips must be completed before the 2020 year end.”
