Scoot Launches New Route to LAOS

Good news, Scoot has launched a new direct route from Singapore to Laos (Vientiane and Luang Prabang). For Europe, it means cheap flights to this beautiful place flying via Singapore with low-cost Scoot.

Laos, officially known as the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), is one of the poorest nations in Southeast Asia. A mountainous and landlocked country, Laos shares borders with Vietnam to the east, Cambodia to the south, Thailand to the west, and Myanmar and China to the north.

“We are thrilled to welcome Laos to our network,” says Mr Lee Lik Hsin, Scoot CEO. “We are confident that the addition of Vientiane and Luang Prabang will boost Scoot’s proposition as a network carrier offering refreshing travel opportunities for those seeking authentic experiences off the beaten track. Travellers can also look forward to more extraordinary travel experiences with us as we plan to add even more new destinations to our network this year.”

Three weekly flights will connect to Laos from Singapore on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

Sale fares are available for travel from 1 April until 26 October 2019 and are available to book until 22 January 2019.

Having in mind that Scoot in low fare company I can’t see how they are cheap? For me it’s the same to fly to Singapore from Europe with Lufthansa or with Scoot. Can you compare these two?
