WIZZ AIR launches 11 new routes to Larnaca (CYPRUS)

WIZZ AIR launches 11 new routes to Larnaca. The European low-cost carrier has announced the opening of its 28th network base, at Larnaca, Cyprus (IATA: LCA).

The airline will base two of its Airbus A320 aircraft at Larnaca and will launch eleven new services to seven countries from LCA starting from July 2020.

Wizz Air’s launched its first Cypriot destinations in December 2010 and carried more than 800,000 passengers to and from Cyprus in 2019.

It claimed the establishment of the new Larnaca base will create more than 100 new direct jobs with the airline and even more in associated industries.

Its two A320s will support eleven new routes to Athens, Thessaloniki, Billund, Copenhagen, Dortmund, Memmingen, Karlsruhe/Baden Baden, Salzburg, Suceava, Turku, and Wroclaw.
