Volotea new hand baggage size policy. With priority boarding, your hand baggage travels with you in the cabin. From 8 June 2022, without priority boarding (price from 9 EUR), you can only bring a small bag (40x30x20 cm) on board to be stored under the seat in front of you.

If you have a ticket that was purchased before 8 June 2022, you can check in an item of hand baggage (40x55x20cm) free of charge at the check-in desk without having purchased priority boarding. But remember that without priority boarding you can only bring a small bag into the cabin with you. If we have to check in hand luggage at the boarding gate you will have to pay an additional charge of €50 per bag and per flight.

Volotea is a Spanish low-cost airline headquartered in Barcelona with bases in Spain, Italy, and France. Volotea was established by Alaeo S.L. from Barcelona, a company created by former Vueling founders, Carlos Muñoz and Lázaro Ros. The name “Volotea” originates from the Spanish verb “revolotear,” meaning “to fly around.” It commenced operations on 5 April 2012, from Venice Marco Polo Airport.
