ARUBA lifts all entry restrictions

All travellers to ARUBA will no longer be required to present a COVID-19 negative test result or proof of vaccination. All travellers will still be required to complete Aruba’s Embarkation/Disembarkation Card before arrival, which is the country’s digitized customs and immigration process.

Online ED Card process

Referred to as the embarkation/disembarkation card (or ED Card) due to it having been a paper card that used to be handed out to visitors to Aruba for filling in traveller information. This has since been completely digitized and is an essential process that all visitors (including children) spending more than 24 hours in Aruba must follow prior to travelling to Aruba.

Steps 1-4 below form part of the online ED Card process that needs to be done at edcardaruba.aw.

Best places to visit in ARUBA

Aruba Visitors Insurance is still required for all visitors.

AS OF AUGUST 1 2021, insurance premiums are a flat rate per stay of $15 per person for persons aged 15 years and older. Persons aged 0-14 are free of charge.

Who needs to purchase the insurance?

This insurance is mandatory for all foreign nationals with the exception of visitors who arrive and leave the same day, Crew Members, Aruban students who return to Aruba and transit/transfer passengers who don’t need to recheck their luggage.

How do I purchase the insurance?

The Aruba Visitors Insurance must be purchased at edcardaruba.aw in advance of travel as part of the online ED Card process.

I already have my own insurance – do I still need Aruba’s?

One’s own travel insurance can be supplementary to the Aruba Visitors Insurance but cannot replace it. The Aruba Visitor’s Insurance is mandatory for entry.
