The Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Bali, a beachfront resort on Bali’s east coast that Google Hotels lists as a 5-star hotel, costs from €47 a night on Booking.com for check-ins between 27 October 2026 and 6 January 2027, and €53 a night for 13 January to 24 February 2027. Both prices are for a Superior King room for two adults, with continental breakfast, taxes and charges included. The resort’s own price for the same room is €87.

We read Booking.com’s own hotel page on 20 October 2026 for 18 one-night check-in dates and for three four-night windows: 13–17 January, 18–22 January and 2–6 February 2027. Free cancellation applied up to three days before arrival on every date that had a room. Booking.com labels the €47 rate a “Late Escape Deal”, which is time-limited, so treat these as live prices that can change, not as a guarantee.

This guide gives a one-night price for every date we checked, the range of travel dates the deal covers, why it is cheap, what the resort and its east-coast location are like, what guests say, what flights from Europe cost on our radar and what Bali charges visitors on entry.

What the prices show

  • Four price levels. €47 outside the holidays until 6 January, €61 from 23 December to 3 January, €53 from 13 January to 24 February and €66 on 10 March.
  • The discount is about the same size on every date. It is 46% off the €87 and €114 rates until early January and 39% off the €87 and €109 rates from mid-January.
  • The “Late Escape Deal” label sat on every €47 and €61 row and on none of the €53 or €66 rows. We cannot tell when or whether that promotion ends, so book the dates you want rather than waiting.
  • One date was sold out. Booking.com showed no room for 30 December 2026.
  • The per-night price did not change with the length of stay. One night was €53 and four nights were €211 (€52.75 a night) for the same January dates.

Three 4-night examples: 13–17 January, 18–22 January and 2–6 February 2027

These are the four-night totals Booking.com showed for the Superior King Room with breakfast, for two adults, taxes and charges included. Each stay costs €211 instead of €346, which is 39% off.

Where to book

Compare prices for the Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Bali on KAYAK. The link opens the example dates of 13–17 January 2027. KAYAK compares several booking sites, so its top button can come from a different site than the Booking.com price we quote. For 13–14 January 2027 it showed Agoda at €56 as the top offer, with Booking.com listed at €53 including free breakfast and free cancellation. Compare the rows before you click.

  • €47 a night: check-ins on 27 October, 4 and 18 November, 2 and 16 December 2026 and 6 January 2027.
  • €61 a night: check-ins on 23 and 27 December 2026, and 1 and 3 January 2027.

  • €66 a night: the one date we checked in March, 10 March 2027.

Prices were viewed from Latvia in euros. Booking.com can show different prices by country, device and loyalty level, so check your own dates before you plan around the numbers above.

Why is it cheap? Wet season, and Booking.com’s discount

Part of the explanation is likely the calendar. The rainy season on Bali runs roughly from December to March. At Denpasar airport, the nearest long-term weather record, January averages 388 mm of rain over about 19 days, February 299 mm over 17 days and December 299 mm over 16 days, against 30 mm in July. Temperatures stay warm, with an average daily high of about 31 °C and a low of about 25 °C in January and February.

Bar chart of average monthly rainfall at Denpasar, Bali, in millimetres: January 388, February 299, March 214, April 115, May 73, June 51, July 30, August 16, September 41, October 68, November 149 and December 299, with the number of rainy days per month underneath.

The other part is the price itself. The €87 and €114 figures are what the resort asks for the same room, and Booking.com is showing 39–46% off. The airport figures above are the nearest long-term record, about 31–39 km from the resort, so local rainfall will differ. Do not book a January week on this coast expecting a dry beach. Book it if a pool, a spa and a quiet black-sand beach with some rain are acceptable.

About the resort

The resort opened in 2016 and was announced as Wyndham’s 100th hotel in South East Asia and the Pacific Rim. According to the opening announcement it has 222 rooms in five categories, including eight private-pool villas, and stands on a 3.4-acre beachfront plot of black volcanic sand surrounded by rice paddies. The announcement named the Bumbu restaurant (Indonesian and international food, with seafood), the Senja Poolside Bar and the Tirta Spa.

Booking.com’s current listing shows two swimming pools, a spa and wellness centre, a restaurant, a bar, room service, a fitness centre, free on-site parking and an airport shuttle. Breakfast is served as continental, halal, Asian, American and buffet. The Superior King Room we priced is 25 m² with a garden view and an extra-large double bed. The resort’s own site is wyndhamjivvabali.com. The restaurant and bar names come from the 2016 announcement, so check what is open for your dates.

Photos of the resort and rooms

The resort’s own photos are copyrighted, so we do not copy them here. They are free to look at on the pages below, and it is worth ten minutes before you book.

See the resort and the rooms
Wyndham’s own hotel page lists 45 photos (22 of guest rooms, 16 of amenities, 3 of the lobby, 3 of the restaurant and 1 of the exterior), as we counted on 20 October 2026. The Wyndham.com gallery shows the same set. KAYAK’s listing for the hotel shows a photo carousel next to the prices.

What to look for when you scroll through them:

  • Which room you are looking at. We priced the Superior King Room (25 m², garden view). Some photos show larger or sea-view rooms. A 2017 TTG Asia review described a 45 m² Deluxe Room overlooking the pool and Lepang Beach, so check the room name on every photo.
  • The two pools. The same review described one in the garden and one “fringed with real sand facing the ocean”.
  • The beach. It is black volcanic sand with surf. The reviewer advised against swimming in the open sea because of big waves, so expect the pools to be the main place to swim.
  • The beach club lawn and restaurant. The review mentions the Jivva Beach Club lawn with beanbags and Balinese parasols, and the Bumbu restaurant. Check recent guest photos and reviews before you book to see what the food and rooms look like today.

Location: Keramas, Klungkung, on Bali’s quiet east coast

The resort is on Lepang Beach, in the Keramas area of Klungkung Regency. It is a long way from the busy south-west of the island, which is the point of the east coast and also its drawback.

  • Airport: 31 km to Ngurah Rai International Airport according to Booking.com, and 39 km according to Google. We would allow an hour or more by road.
  • Ubud: 15 km, per Booking.com. The famous Tegallalang rice terraces are in the same Ubud area.
  • Kuta: 29 km, per Booking.com.
  • Surf: the 2016 announcement put the Keramas surf break about ten minutes away by car.
  • Culture: Google lists the Nyoman Gunarsa Museum 3 km away. The Kertha Gosa pavilion in the Klungkung Palace complex is in nearby Semarapura, the regency capital.

What guests say: 4.4 on Google, 7.3 on Booking.com

The resort scores 4.4 out of 5 on Google Hotels from about 2,800 reviews and 7.3 out of 10 (“Good”) on Booking.com from 524 reviews. The two platforms use different scales and different reviewers, so do not add them up or compare the numbers directly.

Booking.com score (out of 10) Rating
Staff 9.1
Cleanliness 8.0
Comfort 7.9
Value for money 7.9
Facilities 7.4
Free Wi-Fi 7.3
Location 7.1
Overall (524 reviews) 7.3

Staff is the clear strength at 9.1. Location (7.1) and facilities (7.4) are the lowest scores, which fits a resort that sits outside the main tourist areas. A 7.3 overall is a good score but not an outstanding one, and it is the number to weigh against the price.

Who should book this deal, and who should skip it

It suits

  • Couples and short beach stays who want a pool, a spa and breakfast for about €53 a night and do not need a busy area outside the door.
  • Surfers heading for the Keramas break, which was described as about ten minutes away by car.
  • Travellers using Bali as a base for the east and Ubud, who will hire a driver or a scooter anyway.
  • People who already have a cheap flight and want the accommodation part of the trip to cost little.

Skip it if

  • You want cafés, bars and shops within walking distance, as in Seminyak or Canggu.
  • You depend on public transport or do not want to arrange transfers.
  • You need a dry week. January and February are the wettest months.
  • You need 30 December, when no room was shown, or a guaranteed Christmas and New Year rate.

Flights to Bali from Europe: live fares from our flight radar

The hotel is the cheap part of this trip. The flight is the cost, and it varies a lot by departure city. These are the lowest return fares to Bali (DPS) we had live-verified in our flight deals radar on 19–20 October 2026. Every one is a connecting itinerary, and the example dates are the cheapest ones the radar sampled for each city.

Flying from Return fare Example dates Airlines (all connecting)
Budapest €481 26 Nov – 9 Dec 2026 China Eastern
Frankfurt €499 19 Nov – 4 Dec 2026 China Southern
Athens €517 12 – 25 Feb 2027 Scoot
Istanbul (Sabiha Gökçen) €527 22 Nov – 6 Dec 2026 AirAsia X + AirAsia

Vienna €764 5 – 21 Jan 2027 Scoot

Five of these line up with the hotel prices. Budapest, Frankfurt and Istanbul fares are for late November to mid-December, when the resort was €47 a night on the dates we checked. Athens is for 12–25 February 2027, in the €53 band. Riga is for 11–25 January 2027, which covers the 13–17 January window above. Fares move quickly, so open the radar for today’s price before you book the hotel.

We have also published earlier Bali fare posts that you can check for current prices: Budapest to Bali, Frankfurt to Bali, Athens to Bali, Amsterdam to Bali, Helsinki to Bali and European cities to Bali with Turkish Airlines. Bali entry costs and rules in 2026

Check the official pages for your passport before you travel, because rules change. Travel guides and the Danish foreign ministry describe the following.

  • Visa on arrival (VoA / e-VoA): IDR 500,000 (about US$32–35, depending on the exchange rate) for a 30-day stay, extendable once. Most European passport holders need one. Confirm for your nationality on the Indonesian immigration site.
  • Bali tourist levy: IDR 150,000 per foreign visitor, separate from the visa and not included in the hotel price. It is explained on Love Bali, the provincial portal, and by the Danish foreign ministry.
  • Arrival card and documents: guides list a free online “All Indonesia” arrival form, a passport valid for at least six months and a return or onward ticket.
  • Mobile data: compare plans for Indonesia on our sister site CheckESIMRates before you fly.

How to book it without surprises

  1. Open the KAYAK page and enter your own dates for two adults.
  2. Choose an offer with breakfast and free cancellation. We priced the Booking.com offer for the Superior King Room, and KAYAK listed Booking.com as one of its rows on the dates we checked.
  3. Confirm that the price includes taxes and fees (KAYAK’s euro view showed “Nightly total, including all taxes + fees”) and note the free-cancellation deadline, which was three days before arrival on the Booking.com rates we saw.
  4. Check the “pay nothing until” date. It was five days before arrival on the rates we saw.
  5. Ask the resort what its airport shuttle costs, and compare that with a pre-booked transfer.
  6. KAYAK may list other sites at lower or higher prices, with different cancellation terms. Read the terms of the offer you click, because we only checked Booking.com’s.

Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Bali deal: FAQ

How much is the Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Bali per night?

On 20 October 2026 Booking.com showed €47 a night for check-ins from 27 October 2026 to 6 January 2027 (€61 over Christmas and New Year) and €53 a night for 13 January to 24 February 2027. The price is for a Superior King Room for two adults with breakfast, taxes and charges included.

What is the original price of the room?

The same Booking.com pages showed €87 a night as the original price, €114 over Christmas and New Year and €109 on 10 March 2027. The discount was 46% until early January and 39% from mid-January.

Is breakfast included in the price?

Yes. The rate we priced says “Continental breakfast included”. The resort’s breakfast options are listed as continental, halal, Asian, American and buffet.

Can I cancel for free?

On every date with a room, the rate we checked showed free cancellation until three days before arrival (for example before 10 January 2027 for a 13 January arrival) and “pay nothing until” five days before arrival. Always read the deadline for the exact rate you pick.

How far is the resort from Bali airport?

Booking.com gives 31 km to Ngurah Rai International Airport and Google gives 39 km. We would allow an hour or more by road. The resort lists an airport shuttle, but we did not find its price.

Is the Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Bali a 5-star hotel?

Google Hotels lists it as a 5-star hotel. It is a Wyndham Hotels and Resorts property. Guest reviews are good rather than outstanding: 4.4 out of 5 on Google and 7.3 out of 10 on Booking.com.

Is January a good time to visit Bali?

It is the wettest month. Denpasar airport averages 388 mm of rain over about 19 days in January, with highs near 31 °C. That is the trade-off for the lower hotel price.

Where is the resort, and is it near Ubud?

It is in the Keramas area of Klungkung on Bali’s east coast. Booking.com lists Ubud 15 km away and Kuta 29 km away. It is not within walking distance of restaurants and bars, so plan transport.

Can you swim at the resort’s beach?

The resort has two outdoor swimming pools. A 2017 TTG Asia review described one of them as fringed with sand and facing the ocean, and advised against swimming in the open sea because of big waves. Sea conditions change, so ask the resort before you go in.

Does the price include the Bali tourist levy?

No. The IDR 150,000 per person levy is charged separately and is not part of the hotel price.

How much are flights from Europe to Bali?

In our flight radar on 19–20 October 2026 the lowest return fares included Budapest from €481, Frankfurt from €499, Athens from €517 and Istanbul from €527, all with connections. Riga was €758 for 11–25 January 2027. Prices change daily, so open the radar to see today’s fares.

Will the price change?

Yes. Booking.com prices change with demand, and the “Late Escape Deal” label on the lowest rate suggests it may be time-limited. Check the page for your dates before you book a flight.
