How the Renfe Black Friday Superprices work

When you search tickets on Renfe’s website or app during the campaign, the promotional fares are:

• Marked with a gift icon or a promotion label
• Described as “Básico Superprecios” or “Elige Superprecios” in the fare type

You’ll usually see two main options:

• Básico Superprecios – the lowest Black Friday fare, with more restrictions
• Elige Superprecios / Elige Confort – a slightly higher price but with more flexibility (easier changes or refunds), especially useful for longer trips or expensive routes

On many AVE, Alvia, Intercity and Euromed routes you can upgrade from Básico to Elige for around €3, while the upgrade to Elige Confort on AVE International trains starts from about €6.
