Vueling SALE 2026: up to 20% OFF, flights from €13 one-way

Vueling airline has a sale on, and the booking window closes on 6 September 2026. The headline is up to 20% off, but the number that matters more is the actual fares: one-way tickets from Barcelona start at €13, and 37 destinations are currently showing promo prices under €30. Travel has to fall between 1 October 2026 and 31 January 2027.

Here is exactly what is discounted, what the discount does not cover, and whether it is worth anything if you are not already in Spain.

Every price below is a one-way starting fare seen on the promotion page during the sale, per person, before bags and extras. Barcelona is Vueling’s main hub, so it has the deepest list.

What “up to 20% off” actually means

Read the ceiling for what it is. 20% is the maximum, applied to the base fare on selected routes and selected dates, not a flat cut across the network. On a €16 fare, 20% is about €4.

Two things the percentage does not touch:

• Extras are excluded. The discounted price covers the seat and an under-seat bag. Cabin bags, checked luggage, seat selection and priority are added on top at full price — and on a €16 fare, a checked bag can cost more than the ticket.
• Only direct flights count. Anything with a connection, and anything operated by a partner rather than by Vueling itself, is outside the promotion.

It also cannot be combined with other offers, vouchers or Vueling Club promotions.

What you get in the fare — Vueling baggage rules

• Under-seat bag: included free for every passenger, maximum 40 x 20 x 30 cm, plus anything bought at the airport after security.
• Cabin bag: a second piece, maximum 10 kg and 55 x 40 x 20 cm, is included only on the Optima, Family and TimeFlex fares. On the cheapest Basic fare it costs extra.
• Checked luggage: always an add-on unless your fare bundle includes it.

If you are travelling with only an under-seat bag, the promo fares are close to the real total. If you need a cabin bag, compare the Optima fare against Basic plus the bag fee before choosing — the bundle is sometimes cheaper.

How to book the Vueling sale

1. Open the Vueling promotion page and set your departure city.
2. Pick a destination from the promo list, or search your own route directly.
3. In the calendar, the discounted days are the ones highlighted. Dates that are not highlighted are at normal price, so shifting by a day or two often changes the fare more than the discount itself does.
4. Check the total on the payment screen, after bags and seats are added. That is the number to compare against other airlines.
5. Book before 6 September 2026 — the travel dates stay valid until 31 January 2027, but the ability to buy at this price does not.

What to check before you book

• Compare the route, not the discount. On short Spanish domestic hops, Ryanair and Iberia Express often match or beat these fares without any promotion. A 20% cut on an uncompetitive fare is still an uncompetitive fare.
• Watch the return leg. Promo pricing frequently applies in one direction only. A €16 outbound paired with a €90 return is not a €16 flight.
• Basic fares are restrictive. Changes and refunds on the cheapest bucket are limited or paid. If your plans are not firm, price the TimeFlex fare before assuming Basic is cheaper overall.
• The deadline is the purchase date, not the travel date. There is no benefit to waiting.

When does the Vueling sale end?

The booking window closes on 6 September 2026. Flights bought during the sale must depart between 1 October 2026 and 31 January 2027.

How much can I actually save?

Up to 20% off the base fare, and only on selected routes and dates. In absolute terms that is a few euros on the cheapest tickets — the fares themselves, starting at €13 one way from Barcelona, are the real attraction rather than the percentage.

Do I need a Vueling promo code?

No. There is no code to enter. Discounted dates appear already reduced in the booking calendar, and the promotion applies automatically when you select them.

Does the Vueling sale include flights with connections?

No. It is valid only on direct flights operated by Vueling. Connecting itineraries and flights operated by partner airlines are excluded.

Is baggage included in the sale price?

Only the free under-seat bag, up to 40 x 20 x 30 cm. A full cabin bag is included on Optima, Family and TimeFlex fares, and checked luggage is always an extra unless your fare includes it.

Can I combine the sale with other Vueling discounts?

No. Vueling’s terms state the promotion cannot be combined with other offers, so vouchers and other discounts will not stack on top of the sale price.

Can I book the sale through a comparison site?

No. The promotion is valid only for purchases made on vueling.com or in the Vueling mobile app. Use comparison sites to check whether the fare is genuinely competitive, then book direct.

Does Vueling fly from the Baltics?

No. Vueling has no routes from Riga, Vilnius or Tallinn. The sale is most useful as an onward or return leg once you have reached Spain, Italy or France on another airline.
