MSC Opera is a cruise ship owned and operated by MSC Cruises. The ship was built in 2004 by the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. It underwent a significant refurbishment in 2015, which included the addition of new cabins and public spaces, as well as upgrades to its technology and amenities.

The MSC Opera has a capacity of over 2,000 passengers and a crew of around 700. It is 275 meters long, 32 meters wide, and has a gross tonnage of 65,591 tons. The ship has a total of 856 cabins, including interior, oceanview, balcony, and suite options.

Onboard, passengers can enjoy a variety of amenities, including multiple dining venues, bars and lounges, a theatre, a casino, a spa and fitness centre, a swimming pool, and a kids’ club. The ship also offers a range of entertainment options, including live music, comedy shows, and dance performances.

The MSC Opera sails to destinations in the Mediterranean, including ports in Italy, Spain, France, and Greece. Itineraries vary in length, ranging from short weekend cruises to longer journeys of two weeks or more.
