Finland will open its borders for travellers who are fully vaccinated, have recovered from Coronavirus, those 15 years and younger, coming from the EU and Schengen Area countries, starting from July 12. The new rule applies only to people coming from the EU and Schengen countries with low infection rates of Coronavirus, based on the categorisation of the European Centre of Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).

For those travellers that have received only the first shot of the vaccine, the Finnish authorities request a COVID-19 test taken at least 72 hours after arrival to the country, whereas those that haven’t received any vaccine must undergo a test before departure or after the arrival to Finland, Schengen Visa Info reports.
