Virgin Atlantic is excited to announce that in 2023, it will start flying to the idyllic islands of the Maldives as well as Turks and Caicos, allowing Brits to escape to their own slice of paradise and explore the most beautiful beaches and finest snorkeling and scuba diving found anywhere in the world.

The Maldives redefines paradise, with pure white sands and sheltered lagoons, in what is without a doubt one of the most ideal tourist locations, combining exquisite leisure and adventure. Travellers wishing to treat themselves can enjoy world-class diving, surfing, fishing, and kayaking, and there are over 1,000 coral islands to explore.

In addition to that, the Turks and Caicos Islands have some of the most pristine white sand beaches in the world, surrounded by the world’s purest blue waters. The islands are a breathtaking playground for snorkeling and diving, with a vast barrier reef home to bright coral, dolphins, turtles, stingrays, and more. This is the latest addition to our Caribbean offering, after new flights to the Bahamas in December 2021, St Vincent & the Grenadines in October 2021, and our much-anticipated return to St Lucia in October 2021.

Virgin Atlantic will launch a winter seasonal three-times weekly service to the Maldives from London Heathrow, which will go on sale on 30th November 2022, before commencing on 22nd October 2023. The airline will also launch a year-round twice weekly service to the Turks & Caicos which will go on sale from 11th January 2023, for flights starting on 15th November 2023 from London Heathrow. Both routes will be operated on the airline’s Boeing 787-9 aircraft boasting 31 Upper Class, 35 Premium and 192 Economy Delight, Classic and Light seats. Flight prices will be announced at a later date.
